The BRIGHTskills project is leading the charge to future-proof the European health industry by identifying and addressing the skills needed for a rapidly evolving sector. As part of this mission, we have launched one online consultation aimed at collecting input from stakeholders across the EU. Whether you are involved in training or workforce planning, or you are employed in a healthcare company, your input will help shape the skills strategy and tools that will guide the sector forward.

Join BRIGHTskills for the official launch of the first version of the BRIGHTskills European Health Industry Skills Strategy. Discover its priorities, explore opportunities for collaboration and learn how you can contribute to its further development.

Digitalisation, technological innovation, regulatory change and sustainability requirements are reshaping skills needs across pharmaceuticals and biomanufacturing, MedTech, digital health and medical supplies. Addressing these changes requires closer cooperation between industry, education and policymakers.

Drawing on research, stakeholder consultation and co-creation, the Strategy proposes a shared framework for strengthening the health industry’s talent pipeline, improving links between industry and education, and promoting lifelong learning.

The launch webinar will also mark the start of the Strategy’s consultation phase, inviting stakeholders to help ensure it reflects evolving sector needs.

During the webinar, you will:

  • Discover the Strategy’s mission, vision, priorities and proposed actions.
  • Explore how BRIGHTskills evidence can inform workforce planning, training development and policy.
  • Hear a panel discussion on future skills priorities and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Engage with speakers through an interactive Q&A and learn how to contribute to the consultation.

The event is aimed at policymakers, industry representatives, education and training providers, social partners, and other stakeholders working on skills development across Europe’s health industry.
